Harrow AC started the local Harrow parkrun event on 9 May 2015. This is held every Saturday morning at 9am in Harrow Recreation Park and is entirely free to register and take part in. The 5Km course comprises 3 laps held in a picturesque public park setting and regularly attracts over 100 people each week of completely varying abilities.
Parkrun is your opportunity to enjoy a timed 5Km run (its not a ‘race’) with a like minded group of people who simply wish to get some regular exercise and make some friends along the way. You can run as often (weekly) or as infrequently as you wish – the choice is yours!

The parkrun event is run entirely through volunteers giving their time freely and without their generous help the event would not take place. If you would like to volunteer occasionally then simply email the team at harrowhelpers@parkrun.com to register your availability.
